The Hotel has 14 Cosy Rooms and 1 Self Contained Apartment. All but one of the rooms has views of the surrounding Fells, gardens or lake; with 8 rooms enjoying lovely frontal lake views. There are 3 Double Rooms which share 2 bathrooms, situated across the landing (bathrobes are provided in these rooms). These rooms share a balcony with a frontal lake view. All rooms have hairdryers and irons available on request. |

The dining room at the Haweswater Hotel seats around thirty-five. It has panoramic views of the lake, fells and garden. On the dark evenings, the tables are candlelit. The Hotel is situated just 13 km (8 miles) from J39 of the M6 and 19 km (12 miles) from Penrith. Haweswater is ideally situated as a central point for touring the Lake District. Ulswater, Keswick, Kendal and Ambleside are all within 45 minutes drive or less, with Windermere being just a little further. |

Once youre here it feels as if youve left the rest of the world behind...but it is very easy to get to! By Car: From the M6 (13 km / 8 miles): - Exit at junction 39 and take the northbound A6 to Shap. - Drive through Shap then take a left just after the Co-Op, following the signs to Bampton Grange. - Continue on to Haweswater. The hotel is along the country road next to the lake. From Ullswater: - Turn south between Pooley Bridge and Eamont Bridge. - Travel via Askham to Naddle Gate. Satellite Navigation: Please be aware that the nearest registered point is Naddle Gate or Naddle Bridge. This is next to Naddle Farm and the hotel is roughly 3.2 km (2 miles) along the road. |

On public holidays and Valentine’s breaks, the hotel only operates on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is charged at an additional cost to the room rate and reduced packages are available. Anyone found to be or believed to be smoking will have their reservation cancelled, without refund, and will be charged GBP 50 laundry and cleaning costs. Doors close at 23:00 each night. The hotel’s reception does not operate on a 24-hour basis. Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs and allergies can be accommodated by prior request. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: 40 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
