Our hotel has rooms, studios (one-room apartments) and, perhaps most importantly, an informal, friendly atmosphere. The rooms have standard facilities. The studios also have standard facilities, as well as a kitchenette with 2 cooking plates and other kitchen utilities. The studios are cleaned every day and your beds are made up upon arrival. Towels and kitchen towels are included in the studios. You pay no extra charges for final cleaning, gas, water and electricity. |

An extended breakfast buffet can be enjoyed from 05:00 to 09:30. For your evening meal you will find several restaurants in different price categories in our neighbourhood. The nearest restaurant is not even 50 metres away. We will be glad to provide you with advice. |

Hotel van Beelen is situated in a side-street of this characteristic boulevard, just 100 metres from the beautiful, wide beach. The fishing village of Katwijk has never lost its authentic atmosphere, although it is situated in the heart of the Randstad, where you can visit Het Katwijks Museum. At the edge of Katwijk, you can find a vast nature resort with dunes for visitors who appreciate peace and quiet. For bicycle fanatics, cycling routes are available. If you have children, they can enjoy a nice day at Duinrell amusement park or the Space Expo space travel museum. The hotel is also near Keukenhof, in-between the cities of Leiden and The Hague, only 42 km from Amsterdam and Rotterdam. |

By Car: - Take the A44 and get off at the signs for Katwijk. - Take the N206 to Katwijk (watch your speed!). - Follow the signs for Katwijk aan Zee. - After that follow the signs Centrum; drive though the roundabouts straight ahead. - Continue along the streets called Zeeweg, Tramstraat, Koningin Wilhelminastraat. - You will then be at the front entrance of the hotel (just 100 meters before the boulevard on the right corner). From Schiphol Airport: - Direct trips by taxi to Katwijk are possible from the airport. Please ask the hotel for extra information after your reservation. Parking: - The parking places in the centre and surroundings are paid parking. From the hotel you can get a parking card. With this card you are able to park free of charge. You only pay a deposit of EUR 50. |

Only 10 minutes from the centre of Leiden! 3 km from the entrance of ESA/Noordwijk (also good bus transportation). Free parking card. If there are no more rooms available, then its possible that the last room is blocked, to make sure that we can accomodate our regular guests. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 31 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 15 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 35 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 85 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Free public parking is possible at a location nearby. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. |
