The hotel features 35 rooms with shower/bath and toilet. Almost all rooms have their own terrace/balcony. In all rooms there is free wireless internet access. Most of the rooms are separate from the main hotel building and are situated to the rear of the hotel grounds near to the garden. |

The kitchen is open every day of the year from 10:00 to 21:00. Dinner is available in the à la carte restaurant that features its own fire place. Here you can enjoy a selection of soups, warm and cold starters, fish, meat or vegetarian dishes. A 3-course menu with a choice of 2 different soups, a fish or meat dish and a dessert is served daily. For groups warm/cold buffets and barbecues can be arranged. |

Hotel Duinzicht is beautifully situated at the edge of the village on the Badweg leading to the beach. The beach of Schiermonnikoog is the widest beach of Europe. The hotel is located against the dunes and forests and just 2 minutes from the center. |

By car: - Drive to Lauwersoog where you can park your car in a secured parking (you are not allowed to go by car to Schiermonnikoog). - On the island you then take to bus to the Badweg which stops in front of the hotel. By public transport: - From Groningen or Leeuwarden you can take the bus to Lauwersoog. For the departure schedule of the ferry please contact the hotel. |

Hotel Duinzicht is a friendly 3 star family hotel with 35 rooms. We are open every day of the year. We have a good restaurant too which is also open the whole year. For vacation or business it is a very nice place to stay and on a beautiful island. To the center of the village it is a 2 minute walk and to the beach 10 minutes. | |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 12.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 37.50 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included.
