Our hotel has 23 comfortable rooms that are located in an extension behind the restaurant surrounded by a fantastic garden. Several packages are possible in combination with the restaurant and the many sportive and cultural activities. | |

All rooms are equipped with a bathroom and shower or bath, toilet, tv and a radio. Most of the rooms have a balcony or terrace and a view over the garden. | |

The Restaurant full of atmosphere disposes of a star in the Guide Michelin and is the right place for private or business dinners for 2 to 100 Persons. On cold days you can warm up on serveral open fireplaces an in summer you can dine on the terrace in the shadow of centuries-old trees. The chef Jaap Istha was told how to cook by his grandmother when he was still a kid and by his grandfather he was trained to become a confectioner. His style of cooking is modern-classic, mostly using local products. In early autumn Jaap himself is hunting mushroom which he uses for various creatively styled dishes. Specialities of the house are baked mussels Saint Jacques with braised leek and two sauces, Sallands roe deer with mushroom and Hardenberg mushroom soup. The menu consists of saisonal dishes and changes about six times a year. We also arrange for private family or business functions in separate rooms with dinners, walking dinners, high teas and receptions for up to 120 persons. |

From Zwolle: - When arriving in Hardenberg via the N34 keep right. - Turn right at the first traffic lights (direction Tubbergen) - Turn left at next traffic lights (onto Hessenweg) - After about 400 m you see the hotel on your left. From Emmen / Groningen: - After the traffic lights at Hardenberg oost take the first street to the right after the viaduct (Hardenberg, Slagharen). - Go right at the roundabout and at the traffic lights go right again (Hardenberg / Tubbergen) - Go left at the second traffic lights (Hessenweg) - After about 400 m you will find the hotel on your left hand side. From Slagharen / Hoogeveen - in Hardenberg go left at the 3rd traffic lights (Hessenweg) - after about 400 m you will see the hotel on your left hand side. From Germany / Nordhorn - From the border at Venebrugge follow Hardenberg - Arriving in Hardenberg take a left at the first traffic lights - Go right at the roundabout - Pass the bridge (vechtbrug) and go right at the second traffic lights (Hessenweg) - after about 400 m you will see the hotel on the left. From Twente / Tubbergen - via the Twenteweg you pass the bridge (vechtbrug) after two roundabouts - go right at the 2nd traffic lights (Hessenweg) - After 400 m you will see the hotel on your left. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.85 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 11.50 per person. Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
