St Johns Lodge is the food lovers choice, it probably offers the largest selection of breakfast menu in the area, from a touring visitor’s point of view, or if you prefer healthier alternatives, this is a refreshing change. Vegetarians, vegans and people on gluten-free diets will be amazed by the variety of homemade dishes available, along with traditional English dishes. By Car: From North or South: - Take the M6. - Exit at junction 36. - Follow signs to the South Lakes and Kendal. This road is the A590/A591. - Follow the A591 to Windermere and then signs to the town centre. - Drive through the village towards Bowness and the lake. This road is New Road. - After around 800 metres, there is a Catholic church on the left. St Johns Lodge is approximately 90 metres on the left-hand side (If you reach the police station or the lake then you have gone too far). |
