This hotel offers real peace and quiet; when you wake up all you will hear is the singing of the birds! It lies in an enormous garden with ancient trees, and has its own private driveway of almost 200 m, lined by linden trees. Precious vehicles are safely parked in front of the hotel entrance and there are shelters for motorbikes and ATBs. The owners will make you feel at home with their personal approach, the breakfast served at your table and hints about where or what to see and do in the beautiful surroundings. Before this beautiful villa, built in 1837, was turned into a hotel it was owned by a real baron and baronesse. The names and decorations of the rooms still remind of the times when duchesses and princesses were amongst the visitors of La Heid des Pairs. More recently, the hotel hosted Formula 1 drivers as well as musicians and artists as Charles Aznavour, Chris de Burgh, Jeanne Moreau and Leslie Caron. Their portraits can be admired on the hotels own wall of fame. The hotel offers limited internet access at the reception. |

The area is a haven for nature lovers, racing- and motorsports fans, ATB drivers as well as for golfers and hikers! The new Wellnes Centre and the cosy town centre of Spa are only 5 minutes from the hotel. The Francorchamps racetrack lies at 8 kms from the hotel (all the fun but not the noise!). The Royal Golf Club des Fagnes is at 15 minutes and the Five Nations (Durbuy) at 45 minutes from the hotel. The famous GR5 hiking route almost passes by the front door of the hotel, as well as numerous other, beautiful and signposted routes for hikers as well as for ATBs. The beautiful Ardennois towns of Durbuy, La Roche, Malmédy and Coo can all easily be reached within the hour. |

This hotel is renowned for its relaxing situation and atmosphere. The owners will welcome you personally, and serve breakfast at your table. Here, you will quickly feel at home in the Belgian Ardennes. In the hotel, built in 1837, you will feel the air of yesteryear all around. It offers 8 different, romantic rooms, of which 3 with balconies. All are tastefully decorated and furnished with residents comfort in mind. The hotel offers a salon with fireplace, a small library and a sunny terrace. It is situated in its own grounds with ancient trees and an open air swimming pool. There is a free car park in front of the main entrance, for residents use only. You will find this small paradise at only 1.5 km from the Thermes and the centre of Spa. Nearby, you will find numerous hiking- and mountainbike routes, an 18-hole golfcourse, ski- and langlaufloipes, a tennis court, horse riding facilities, the Casino and the many cosy restaurants of Spa. The Formula-1 racetrack Spa-Francorchamps is only 10 minutes by car, as well as the charming towns of Malmedy and Stavelot. The owners speak English, French, German and Dutch. Half board (minimum 6 persons) is possible after consultation at an additional cost. The hotel is open all year. Reduced prices as from 2 nights. Low season tariff from January till end of March. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 42 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified up to 28 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 29.00 per stay for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 39.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is included. Internet: Internet via modem is available in public areas and charges are applicable.
