Hostellerie La Butte Aux Bois is situated in the heart of the Euregion, only 5 kilometres from Maastricht, in the rolling landscape shaped by the river Maas in Limburg. The castle, initially intended as a residence, was built in 1924 by (Sir) Lagasse de Locht and in the eighties and nineties transformed into a stylish hotel with luxurious rooms, an elegant restaurant, winter gardens and large terraces. The transformation of the domain was completed in 1996 with the opening of the Aquamarijn Beauty Centre, an exclusive centre with a swimming pool, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a whirlpool. | |
