Go down to Tournai where you can admire the old town & its curiosities, visit the Musée des Beaux-Arts with its paintings by Manet, lthe Roman houses, the cathedral Notre-Dame with its five bell towers. A day is not enough to see everything! Lille, the largest town in the north of France is only 20 minutes away by car. A must if you enjoy wandering along wide avenues & narrow streets with their many shops & cafés. The atmosphere is so different that a day seems like a week!
