The hotel’s own on-site restaurant features beams, hops, an open log fire and a wood-burning stove. You can enjoy Kentish Pride real ale and a fine choice of wine. The restaurant offers a full waiting service. Al fresco dining on the patio is very popular on sunny days and warm evenings, when you can see the peaceful surroundings of the countryside. The chefs use the best locally sourced and home-grown produce to create an exciting range of English and continental dishes. On Sundays, a fine Sunday roast is available alongside the other menus. The restaurant is extremely popular, so advance booking is strongly advised. You can choose from 2 sittings: 18:45 and 20:45. Children under 10 years are not allowed in the restaurant after 20:00. Breakfast is available from 07:00 until 09:30. |

By Car (from the M20 motorway): - Leave the M20 motorway at junction 7 and take the turn off for the A249, following the signs for Sheerness. - Immediately move over into the right-hand lane and take the turn off for the village of Detling. - Go through the village to the Cock Horse pub. - Opposite the pub, there is a lane called Pilgrims Way, signposted Thurnham. The Black Horse Inn is 5 minutes’ drive, further on down the line. Please note that you are advised not to use satellite navigation after junction 7 of the M20, as you come onto the A249, as satellite navigation systems send you the wrong side of Pilgrims Way. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged GBP 5.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.
