Charme Hotel & Apartments was partially renovated in 2004 and 2007, and we are proud of the result. The idea behind Charme is simply to strip the hotel product down to our core: a clean, safe and funky overnight stay in the heart of Bergen. We’re situated in the pulsating heart of Bergen, but our street is covered from the big city noise – just to make sure you get your beauty sleep. The Tourist Information is situated approximately 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel. Discovering Bergen? All Bergen can offer you within the city centre as museums, the aquarium, cinema, nightclubs and restaurants, museums, tourist bus and beautiful Mount Fløyen (cable car) is within a 10-minute walk of the hotel reception. If you’re looking for a special event or landmark, our staff will be most helpful and we also help with reservations for the most popular tours and sights. |

By Air: When you arrive at the airport in Bergen you’ll find the airport bus just to the right of the exit of the airport (10 metres). Take the airport bus to down town and get off at the stop called Radisson SAS Hotel Norge. This is the 1st stop after the bus station and train station. From the bus stop located in Olav Kyrres street the easiest way is to walk up this street 4 blocks until you meet the street Rosenbergsgaten. Take a right at this corner and walk down this street for 2 and a half blocks. Then Charme will be located on your left-hand side. By Bus: The central bus station is located at one end of the city centre. Since taxis are a bit expensive in Norway, the easiest way to get to Charme from the bus station is a 10 to 15-minute walk by the city pond Lille Lungegårdsvannet. When you exit the combined front door of the bus station and Bystasjonen shopping centre you walk straight forward and cross the road with traffic lights. Then you’ll see the pond 50 metres in front of you. You then walk alongside this until you get to the bus street Olav Kyrres gate. Turn left here and follow this street for about 2 blocks until you get to the corner of Olav Kyrres gate and Rosenbergsgaten. Take to the right and follow the street Rosenbergsgaten for 2 and a half blocks and then Charme will be located on your left-hand side. By Train: When arriving Bergen by train, the easiest way to Charme is a 10 to 15 minute walk. When exiting the train station, just walk 50 metres straight forward towards the city pond. Here you follow the street Kaigaten along the pond until you meet the street Christies gate. Here you turn left and follow this street for 5 minutes until you arrive at the corner of Christies gate and Rosenbergsgaten. Here you turn right and follow the street Rosenbergsgaten for 2 and a half blocks, and then Charme will be located on your left-hand side. |
