Built in 1898 this Swiss chalet style hotel is surrounded by extensive and large gardens and is well known outside Sandnes for excellent cuisine and warm hospitality. The 100 year old weeping beech tree is a focal point at Kronen Gaard Hotel and is characteristic of the charm and elegance of this fully serviced hotel located amid sweeping Norwegian landscapes. Choose from 35 well appointed rooms, both singles and doubles, which are light filled and elegantly decorated. Kronen Gaard is proud of its culinary history and the chefs source raw natural produce from local suppliers. Breakfast is served in the historic lounge rooms. Children can be entertained in the playroom at the video station. Complimentary parking is available close to the hotel. Kronen Gaard Hotel can arrange dinner and team building in a turf hut situated on the hillside behind the hotel. The turf hut consists of 3 metre thick stone walls, turf roof, wooden table, a large open fireplace and wooden benches with sheepskin. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged NOK 200.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged NOK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.
