Bansko is situated in the Southwestern part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the Pirin mountain. The picturesque town offers its guests a 16 km uninterrupted ski run, starting from Todorka Peak (2600 metres) all the way down to the base station of the cable car on the outskirts of the town. Velyanov House (600 metres) - built in the early 19th century for Velyan Ognev (master builder and painter), the house contains many original woodcarvings, murals and is a superb example of Revival Period architecture. The Church of the Holy Trinity (600 metres) - built in 1835, this church contains a number of intricate and beautiful artistic features. Its belfry now dominates the town skyline. |

By Train / Bus (from Bansko Railway / Coach Station, 1 km): Exit the bus or train station and follow signs for the town centre (head down Todor Alexandrov). Cross the square into Pirin and continue down this road. Towards the end of the road, turn left into Hristo Matov. Follow this road until its end and turn right. The apartments will be on your right. |
