Here he produced “Miners,” the first of his poems to be published. | By Car: From the A64 or A170: - Following either of these roads into Scarborough will bring you to Falsgrave Road. - Turn left off Falsgrave Road onto Victoria Road. - Continue through to Castle Road. - Take the first exit at the traffic circle onto North Marine Road. - Take the 3rd right onto Queens Parade. The hotel is just around the next corner. From the A171: - Heading South towards Scarborough, exit the A171 at Burniston via the A165 (Coastal Road). - Follow the A165 into Scarborough and take the first exit after the roundabout into Peasholm Road. - Take the next left into Queens Parade.
