Some people know that… You should hit town in August when the capital transforms with festivals and parties. It is THE festival of all festivals where you can see world class comedians and performances everywhere imaginable – including phone booths and taxi cabs. More & more celebrities, think its shopping heaven, with gems at Hamilton & Inches, handmade chocolates at Plaisir de Chocolat on the Royal Mile, cool interiors at Tangram at the fruitmarket gallery and not forgetting Cruise, Corniche and Xile for the latest outfit. Every night is cocktail time watching the Edinburgh sunset in Harvey Nichols rooftop bar, followed by haute cuisine a stone’s throw away on George Street. And this celebration all takes place by a volcano! To the east of our famous Edinburgh castle lies a large hill resembling a crouching lion – known by all as Arthur’s Seat, situated within Holyrood Park. Arthurs Seat is an extinct volcano - the largest of a number which gave this region its shape. Le Monde is centrally located in Edinburgh, George Street. If you are flying into Edinburgh there is an excellent bus service that takes you into Waverly Bridge by the train station, only a few minutes walk from Le Monde. There is also a taxi rank outside the airport, the bus is a 25 minute journey. The Bus station is on the opposite side of St. Andrews Square at the east end of George Street and is only a few minutes walk from the hotel itself. Waverly Train Station is located on Princes Street, the street adjacent to George Street and is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged GBP 50.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
