Your accommodation includes breakfast, which can either be one of Tony’s full English breakfasts, or a continental-style cold buffet. But you could enjoy more: a full, 3-course dinner is also available. Our varied menu, which changes every day, includes meat and fish dishes, with fresh vegetables (locally sourced wherever possible), all this for only GBP 12 per person. Dinner is served at 18:00 each day; if you would like to take advantage of this option, please order before noon of your day of arrival, as each meal is prepared and cooked to order. A vegetarian option can also be ordered; if you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know prior to arrival. |

By Car: From Norwich: - Follow the A47 and continue onto the Acle New Road. - On entering Great Yarmouth follow signs for seafront. - Turn right at seafront and continue with the sea on your left, past Britania Pier, Marina Leisure Centre and Wellington Pier. - When you get to The Model Village, turn right, where the road is marked All Major Routes (Kings Road). - Kings Road becomes Queens Road, there is one hotel on Kings Road and The Southern is the one on Queens Road. |

A former merchants house, this family-run, licensed premises has undergone a major refurbishment programme to offer you all modern comforts for a relaxing and memorable stay. The Southern is situated close to the beach, Wellington Pier, the leisure centre, Pleasure Beach and outer harbour. Please note that the hotel does not take Stag or Hen Parties or bookings from guests under the age of 25 years. |

Free secure parking is available in a car park off-site, close to the rear of the hotel. An access code is required from reception prior to using the car park. The hotel is closed for business over the Christmas period as they are fully booked for the special 4 day Christmas break. We reserve the right to pre-authorise all credit cards prior to arrival |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the room. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
