The Silver Jubilee, built with local granite as a private house in 1898, was renovated in 1977 to create 7 en suite, self-contained rooms, with a restaurant and bar/lounge on the ground floor. To this day, it is a cosy, family-run establishment, dedicated to guest comfort and well being. Every wish is catered for and every request wherever possible met. Judith (who is Swiss) and Andrew (English) take great pride in welcoming new and regular guests. |

All rooms face either west or east. All rooms have been recently decorated in pastel shades and are named (rather than numbered) after local coves and bays. |

Newquay is centrally located for day trips to: - St. Austell - Pasdstow - St. Ives - Eden Project - Bodmin Moor (Daphne Du Maurrier) - The Roselands (Roseamunde Pilcher) - Lands End - The Lizard - Penzance - Plymouth - Tintagel Many country house gardens, zoos and other attractions are found nearby, as are 7 beaches. Fell free to ask staff for advice on excursions. |

The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and 4 minutes from the bus station. The nearest airport is a 20 minute bus or taxi ride away. By car: - Take the A30. - Join the A392 to Quintrell Downs roundabout and turn right into the A3058 Porth/Newquay road. - Follow this road until you see the railway station on your left. - Ahead is a set of traffic lights where you are forced to turn left, this is Berry Road; the hotel is the 4th building on the left, with Palm Trees outside. |

Ideally situated on the level in the heart of Newquay, this 3-star guest house is just a short stroll away from 7 fine sandy beaches and the harbour. Being near the rail and coach stations, it is well situated for day trips to such destinations as Tintagel, Padstow, Eden Project and St.Ives etc. Every effort is made to source locally produced food. A fruit basket is provided at reception and all rooms are tastefully decorated in pastel shades. All rooms contain an en suite shower and toilet, and are complemented with towels, a hairdryer, TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio/alarms and a small fridge. |

Payment information: Cheques are not accepted as a form of payment; credit card or cash are preferred. The hotel operates a minimum 2 night stay and couples only policy. This means no stag/hen or other groups. During the main holiday period of mid July to September, the hotel operates a weekly minimum policy (7 nights), although this does not have to be a Saturday to Saturday. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the total price of the reservation will be charged. In case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children from 3 to 3 years are charged 25 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. One child from 4 to 6 years is charged 35 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. One child from 7 to 10 years is charged 55 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. One child from 11 to 14 years is charged 66 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Parking: Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs GBP 3.00 per day. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. |
