We are 10 minutes by bus from central Edinburgh. From Princess Mall(train Station) a taxi will cost approx GBP 5. A bus 12 0r 25 will bring you yards from our door step costing approx 90pence per person travelling. For Airport arrivals, either a airport taxi or airport bus are readily available outside of the airport. Taxi can be an expensive option, however airport buss are very reasonable. We are approx 30 mins from the airport. Travelling from the South - A68 or A702 Travelling from the North - A9 then M90 Travelling from the East - A1 Travelling from the West - M8 Follow signs for Leith we are situated overlooking Leith Links Park. From city centre, Bus and Waverly train station - bus number 12 or 25. From the airport you can take a taxi or the airport bus into the city centre, then a bus or taxi to Leith Links. 5 - 10 minutes from city centre to Leith Links by bus, car or taxi. |

Originally built in the 1890s, this charming Victorian house is centrally located within a mile and a half (ca 2.4 km) of Edinburgh’s major attractions, including the Castle and the Royal Mile. Originally a sea merchants’ house, the Edinburgh Thistle Guest House now provides 8 recently refurbished rooms, available as single, double, twin and family.
