By Car: From the M1 South: - Exit at junction 13. - Join the A421 towards Bedford. - Continue on A421 for 9 miles. - Eventually bear left onto the A6 (Wilstead Road). - Continue straight onto the A6 (Ampthill Road). - Continue straight on through a number of traffic lights. - After 2 miles, take first exit onto Brittannia Road (with Bedford Hospital on your left). - At the lights, turn right. - At the roundabout, turn left into Prebend Street (A5141). - At the next roundabout, take the second exit, following Ashburnham Road (with the railway station on the left). - At the double mini roundabout, bear right then immediately left into Shakespeare Road. - The Edwardian House Hotel is on the right.
