An ideal base for visiting the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, this contemporary resort provides comfortable accommodation in the popular coastal resort of Port Douglas. Conveniently located close to the area’s amenities and landmarks, such as Four Mile Beach (400 metres), the Meridian at Port Douglas is also within an hour’s drive of Cairns and an ideal starting point for day excursions, including safaris and diving. The central feature of the Meridian at Port Douglas is the heated, lagoon-style pool with pool decks extending from the superior apartments and studios. There is also an outdoor BBQ entertaining area and an 8-person Jacuzzi/spa set amongst the tropical gardens. All of the Meridian’s self-contained apartments are situated on upper levels of the resort and feature a small balcony. They are suitable for up to 2 adults and are equipped with one queen-size bed and a fully-fitted kitchenette. |
