Right in front of the hotel there is a pedestrian promenade that runs along the spectacular coast for about 3km, up to the popular beach Praia Formosa. The promenade is edged by lush botanical gardens and has a myriad of viewing points and seats where you can enjoy the stunning scenery. At just two minutes walking from the resort, the new Madeira Forum Shopping Centre provides a large variety of restaurants and cafés, quality shops and cinemas (international films are shown in the original languages with Portuguese sub-titles).
