Extensive renovation by French craftsmen has sympathetically restored the Hotel to its former glory. The nature and attention to detail of the renovations has allowed most of the original features to be kept such as the stunning terracotta tiled floors, the wooden French style ceilings, the marble and natural stone fireplaces, and the Louis XIV nutwood doors,to name but a few. The Hotel offers a blend of culture and innovation, together with luxurious and modern comfort, all of which is in complete harmony with the historical setting of Mirepoix. The Relais Royal Hotel offers 8 extremely spacious deluxe rooms. 3 of the rooms are suites and as such incorporate a considerable living room with second plasma television. Together with a large private bathroom, facilities in each room include a mini bar, trouser press, hairdryer, satellite television, radio, safe, telephone and internet connection. The rooms are furnished with ample sized beds with lengths of 2 or 2.10 metres. Likewise for our non-smoking guests a number of rooms have been reserved especially for your comfort (subject to availability). Disabled access is facilitated throughout the hotel and one bedroom is specially designed to accommodate the needs and well-being of our disabled guests. Tranquillity, space, opulence and modern convenience all await you. |

From 2 November 2007 to the end of March 2008, the restaurant will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays all day. It will also be closed every day for lunch except at Sundays for lunch and for group reservations. |

The Relais Royal Hotel**** is situated in the heart of the French medieval castle town of Mirepoix. The historical 18th century building once belonged to the Malroc de Lafage family and is the first four star hotel in the Ariège region. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.90 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
