Located in Chicagos center in the south Loop area. The seven-story hostel building opened in October 2000, and since then this historic building (built in 1886) has hosted over 110,000 overnight stays. Half of our guests come to Chicago from around the USA and the other half travel from around the world. The hostel does not have any age restrictions. |

The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Rooms range in size from 4 beds to 14 beds, and most rooms have 6 or 8 beds. Rooms are single-sex. Most rooms have a shower and restroom in the room, and the hostel also has large single sex showers and restrooms. Individual lockers are provided in each room. Please bring your own lock for the lockers. All guests receive bed linens, towel and pillow. Comfortable spaces are available for hostellers to connect with each other to trade information, tell stories, become friends, and perhaps even traveling companions. |

Quick and easy access to both airports: OHare and Midway Terminal, AMTRAK Station and METRA stations. *The nearest subway is 1 block from the hotel. *Amtrack is 1 mile from the hotel, and Union train station is also 1 mile away. *Greyhound bus station is 1 mile from the hote. *The airport shuttle is available from 4am until 11:30pm. The cost is USD 25 one way, and USD 46 round trip for 1 person. For 2 people the cost is USD 18 per person. The shuttle must be reserved in advance. |
