After closing for renovations, the Cafe Majestic has returned and is open for business. We are very excited about writing the next chapter in what has been a rich and distinguished history. Our restaurant and hotel have seen over a century of change in San Francisco and we look forward to the future. As far as the kitchen, Cafe Majestic is proud to welcome executive chef Ian Begg, whos strong belief in fresh, seasonal ingredients is the cornerstone of the restaurants philosophy. Hotel Majestic is within walking distance of the favorite shops of Japantown and the famous Fillmore Street. The hotels ideal location puts guests near downtowns high rises and cable cars. Guests will also appreciate the free morning taxi service to either the Financial District or Union Square on Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. One older child or adult is charged USD 20.00 per night in an extra bed. One child under 4 years stays free of charge in a baby cot. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 14 % Tax is not included. Service charge is not applicable. 1.5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. Meal Plan: Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary.
