The hotel occupies a building which is 130 years old yet modern, and offers 35 beautifully and individually styled rooms. For your comfort we offer breakfast rooms for non-smokers with a copious and varied buffet and complimentary newspapers. A bar is open in the evening and we also offer a seminar room. In our Reception you find literature on Berlin, historical and current city maps, souvenirs and tickets for the public transport system and sightseeing tours by bus or boat as well as entry tickets to the Sea Life aquarium. Internet access is available via a laptop in our Reception area. Bicycles are available for hire if you wish to explore Berlin alone. In addition to our extensive Berlin library, we offer a few board games for hire. Opening hours of the car park: 07:00 – 22:00. |

From Tegel Airport you may go by Bus 128 to the underground station Osloer Straße. Changing to underground U8 (direction Hermannstraße) until Rosenthaler Platz. Here you will find a clock with an arrow showing the direction to our hotel. It is a 6 minutes walk. Or go for one stop by Tram 13 or 53 to Zionskirchplatz. From the Trainstation Zoologischer Garten you take the S-Bahn S5 (direction Strausberg-Nord), S7 (direction Ahrensfelde) or S9 (direction Schönefeld) until Hackescher Markt. Further by Tram 13 (direction Zingster Straße) or Tram 53 (direction Rosenthal) to Zionskirchplatz. Now there are only a few meters to walk until you will reach our hotel. A10 Berliner Ring till Dreieck Nuthetal, further A 115 until Dreieck Funkturm, setting out A 100 Wedding/Seestrasse until crossing Müllerstrasse. Now turn right and go further (street passes over into Chausseestrasse) till Invalidenstrasse und now give another turn to the left (later this street passes over into Veteranenstrasse); turn to the right into Fehrbelliner Strasse, next crossing to the left, now you have only about 300 meters to the Hotel Pension Kastanienhof. |

Our hotel is in the urban area Berlin-Mitte near Prenzlauer Berg, a few minutes from the undergroundlines U2 (Senefelder Platz or Eberswalder Straße) and U 8 (Rosenthaler Platz). Also nearby are the tramlines 13, 50, 53 and the busline 143. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years are charged EUR 8.00 per night for cots.
