The hotel building was built in 1907 and once housed the Heidelberger Aktienbrauerei. In 1999 the brewery moved into a modern building in Pfaffengrund. A refurbishment was made to the old building and architects built the hotel’s newer building, connecting the two buildings with a roof made of glass. The hotel houses 16 function rooms, all named after famous European cities. By combining the ‘London’ and ‘Paris’ halls, the hotel can house events for up to 120 people. Heidelberg’s convention centre is less than 1 km from the hotel. |

The hotels main restaurant offers a full buffet breakfast. It is also open for lunch and dinner, serving an extensive selection of international cuisine from an à la carte menu. Vegetarian and childrens menus are also available. Breakfast is served from 06:00 until 10:00, lunch from 12:00 until 14:00 and dinner between 18:00 and 23:00. Alternatively sample more traditional fare, including Bavarian and Swabian specialities, in the rustic atmosphere of the Bräustüberl lounge. The hotel’s bars are open from 17:00 until 01:00.
