The art’otel Potsdam boasts a skilful combination of modern and historic architecture, art and contemporary design. The interior architecture and design are the work of the renowned English designer, Jasper Morrison. The new part of building has attracted a great deal of attention. It stands in contrast to the historic architecture of Ludwig Persius, who converted the original granary building into an Italian-style castle in 1848. Guests have use of a fitness and spa centre, which is adjacent to the hotel. In addition to weight-lifting rooms and a cardio-studio, it offers 5 different saunas with steam bath, solarium, massage services and beauty salon (additional fee required). A public cruise ship docks right at the hotel harbour each day between 12:30 and 15:30, and takes guests for a trip along the Havel. Guests can use the car and bus parking spaces at the hotel free of charge. |

Alternatively, you can explore the city by using the sightseeing tour bus which stops directly outside the hotel. A tram stop lies just 50 metres away, while Charlottenhof railway station is only 300 metres from the property. From there, you can reach Berlin within 20 minutes. |
