This castle in Neustadt-Glewe is located near several hiking and cycling paths. The Lewitz is one of the largest nature reserves in Mecklenburg. Up until 100 years ago it was still marshland, but it now has lots of forests, canals and bird species. Visitors are attracted to Neustadt-Glewe due to its historic castle, town church and the numerous pretty half-timbered buildings. The Baroque Old Town of Ludwigslust with its famous castle is only 10 kilometres away. |
