This hotel sits in the Ilsetal valley on the outskirts of Ilsenburg and on the borders of the Harz Mountains national park, boasting 250 kilometres of hiking trails. The 3-star Waldhotel am Ilsestein was completely modernised and renovated during November and December 2008. The Waldhotel offers romantic, cosy rooms with modern amenities including free internet access. Relax in the Waldhotel am Ilsestein’s wellness area, which includes an indoor swimming pool (8m x 5m), two saunas, which are free of charge, as well as a solarium, infrared cabin and massages. Other facilities the hotel has to offer are a billiard and table tennis room, table football and skittles. Additionally, there are two play rooms for children, a reading room and a small library. In the morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 50 percent of all nights will be charged. In case of no-show, 70 percent of all nights will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 6 to 16 years are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
