Situated on the outskirts of the Dresdner Heide (Dresden Heath), Alberstadt is one of Germany’s largest garrison cities. It developed at the end of the 19th century. From the motorway A4: - Exit for Dresden-Hellerau onto Radeberger Straße, towards the city centre. After about 1.5km (with an ARAL gas station on your right-hand side) turn left into Stauffenbergallee. - After about 1.5km (after passing the Holiday Inn Dresden on your right-hand side) turn right and follow the main road into Buchenstrasse. From the airport: - Drive along Flughafenstraße. Turn left into Karl-Marx-Straße. - After about 1 km turn right into Königsbrücker Straße. - After 3 km turn right into Stauffenbergallee. After about 150m turn left and follow the main road into Buchenstraße. |
