Nature enthusiasts can venture into the nearby Black Forest and enjoy the scenery from Schauinsland mountain or hike through the area. Lake Titisee, a natural reservoir 35 km from the hotel, is ideal for a number of outdoor activities, including wind-surfing and fishing. In winter, cross country skiing is possible in the region.
