The idyllic old guest-house with its former brewery Zum Breiterle was acquired in the early 18th century by the last Hege-Riders, also called the Bereiter, previously were in charge of the so-called Landhege of the old Free Town of Rothenburg and had their residence at the hege-Riders House in the hospitals courtyard. From all directions, follow the sign Stadtmitte (city centre), entering the historic city through the Wuerzburg Gate / Galgen Gate. Take the first street left (Rosengasse) until you reach the intersection at Rosengasse / Roedergasse. The hotel is located opposite the intersection on your left hand side. Traffic is restricted on Saturday and Sunday. As a guest of our hotel you will have the permission to enter the old town. |

Our hotel, inside the wall of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a picturesque town dating back to the Middle Ages, is strongly connected to the history of the town. Franconian hospitality at its best and already established for generations, the hotel offers traditional guest rooms and an event room for up to 80 people. Right opposite the hotel is the Roeder Tower which is located near the well-known Gerlach blacksmith’s shop in the old town centre. We are a Non-Smoking-Hotel. |
