From the Fürstenhof you can easily reach all sights of Weimar within walking distance. Several artistic and cultural establishments such as the Bauhaus-University Weimar are located nearby. Our house is only 1 min away from Goethe-Park, which holds the residence of Liszt, the Roman House and Goethes Summerhouse in a wonderful area along the river Ilm. The eastern park side features the Bauhaus building Haus Am Horn as well as a construction area with new Bauhaus-style houses. The Historical Cemetery with Fürstengruft and the Russian Orthodox Chapel can be seen from the hotel. Walking on Amalienstraße for 300 m, you will reach the Goethe House and the maketplace with its neo-gotic town hall. Just before that, turn left for the Schiller House and the Bauhaus Museum. Here, you will also find several shopping possibilities. Reach the Theater square and discover the German National Theater. | |

By car: Leave the highway A4 Dresden/Eisenach at exit Weimar, 1st traffic light to the left, follow direction Weimar city. Arriving in Weimar, make a left turn on the 1st crossing, driving direction Erfurt, after approx. 400 m you will find us on the left hand side. By train: From Central Station, take city bus no. 5, 6 or 8, exit Poseckscher Garten, then about 80 m walk to the hotel. |

The Fürstenhof is centrally located in Weimar city, directly nearby the Historic Graveyard. Built in 1885 in Wilhelminian style, the house was completely redeveloped in 1996 and renovated in 1999/2000 and is now a quaint hotel of the middle price class. |
