The Alter Kohlhof lies in a small valley surrounded by forests and meadows. In the summer cows graze here, while our goats and Andalusian horses dwell on the pastures next to the hotel. Directly outside the hotel you can go hiking, jogging, Nordic walking or mountain-biking, or you can explore the area via a guided trek on our Andalusian horses. Königstuhl Mountain is situated 3 km from the hotel. From here you have a beautiful view over the Rhine lowlands and the Neckar Valley. In good weather you can even see the Pfälzer Mountains. From the Königstuhl you can take both the oldest or the newest mountain railways down to the castle, or further into the heart of Heidelberg. This mountain is a fairytale paradise, and the perfect place for little ones to let off steam and play. For adults, seeing the falconer with his eagles, eagle owls and the falcon Tinnincullus is an exciting experience. For business travellers, the exhibition centres at Sinsheim, Mannheim, Heidelberg and Frankfurt are all easily accessible. |

From the A5: Leave the A5 at the exit Heidelberg-Schwetzingen, follow the signs to Leimen. In Leimen please follow the direction to Gaiberg. On the top of the hill you will sea at the traffic light the sign Kohlhof-Königstuhl, please turn here left. After 2.5 km follow the sign Kohlhof. Alter Kohlhof turn right, after another 1.5 km please turn right when you see our Hotel sign. At the end of the street you will find our hotel. From the A6: Leave the A6 at Sinsheim, follow the direction Neckargemünd. After the exit Bammental you will see a traffic light with the sign Waldhilsbach. Please leave here on the left. Drive through Waldhilsbach up the hill until you see the sign Kohlhof. Please turn left, then take the third street on the left hand side. Here you will see our hotel sign. At the end of the street you will find our hotel. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
