The Mercure Hotel Biel Plaza, located in the heart of Switzerlands watch metropolis, Biel, is only a few footsteps from the central shopping district, traffic-free zone and the old town. The region of the 3 lakes (Lake of Biel, Murten and Neuenburg), with its countless vineyards, is known for its lovely lake cruises, bike paths and hiking trails. Biel is an ideal departure point to Switzerlands major tourist attractions (Basel, Berne, Lucerne, Montreux, Interlaken, etc.). Biel is situated approximately 90 minutes away from the international airports of Zürich and Geneva and is a mere 30 minutes away from the Bern airport. The hotel has 3 large banquet and conference halls which seat up to 200 people (depending on hall combination and seating arrangement) and 4 conference rooms each with a conference table that seats up to 10 people. |
