There is a variety of places for you to chose for dining and refreshments at the hotel. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 until 10:30 in the Rosa Salon on the first floor. Restaurant Goldener Hirsch: It is the most famous exclusive venue in Salzburg and many celebrities meet for lunch or dinner here all year round. Its cuisine is a superb combination of traditional local specialities and new creations in the spirit of contemporary creative cooking. The Wine Cellar boasts a selection of Austrian wines together with superb vintages from the world´s great estates. The restaurant serves lunch from 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner from 18:30 to 22:00. Bar Goldener Hirsch: The Bar is the favourite meeting place of many well-known international personalities and invites guests to its covered inner courtyard for aperitifs. Restaurant Herzl: The Herzl located beside the Hotel Goldener Hirsch has been an insider´s meeting point for a long time and is the ideal venue to enjoy home-cooking in a relaxed and convivial Salzburg atmosphere. From the airport: Salzburg´s main airport (Salzburg Airport-W.A.Mozart-SZG) is about 4 km west from the centre, reachable with public bus number 2 at regular intervals between Salzburg main railway station and Salzburg Airport. Journey time approx. 25 minutes. The centre is also served by taxis which can be found directly in front of the Salzburg airport. From W.A. Airport take the bus line 2. Step out at the stop Hans Schmid Platz and take the bus line 1. After 7 stations step out at H.-v.- Karajan-Platz. Turn right and in 10 Meters you reach the Restaurant Goldener Hirsch. The main entrace is on the other houseside. By car: From all directions: Take Vienna A-1 and exit at Salzburg West. Follow signs towards Zentrum. Continue for 3 kilometers and go through the tunnel. At the traffic light, drive through the intersection and park in front of the hotels restaurant (back entrance). The hotel has private valet parking. |
