Summer: On the sunny high plateau, surrounded by the Karwendel and Rofan mountain ranges, lies Maurach, sandwiched between the lake and the mountains like a village out of a picture book. The lakes clear water attracts bathers, surfers and sailors. Winter: At this time of year you will find snowy fields and mountain peaks. Here you can indulge in a variety of winter sports, whatever your age. Parking: The hotel has a free car park. Arrival by car from the A12 motorway towards Kufstein: - Take the exit for Achensee-Zillertal. - The Hanlswirt is located in the middle of Maurach, opposite the post office. Arrival from Germany via Achenpaß (no road tax): - Use the München/Salzburg motorway. - Exit at Holzkirchen/Tegernsee/Achenpaß. - Take the B181 towards Maurach. - The Hanlswirt is located in the middle of Maurach, opposite the post office. Arrival by train: Alight at Jenbach railway station. The hotel will happily collect you from the station on request. |
