The restaurant is located in the cellars of Villa Solitude and offers a beautiful view over Bad Gasteins waterfall. By Car from Munich approx. 2 hours from Salzburg approx. 1 hour: South on the Tauern Autobahn (motorway) to Bischofshofen, Gasteinertal exit, then highway B 167 to the Gastein Valley. from Innsbruck approx. 2 hours: Autobahn via Wörgl, highway B 312 via St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, B 311 via Zell am See to Lend, B 167 to Gastein or on the autobahn via Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, B 167 to the Gastein Valley. Built in 1838, the villa was a society meeting point of its time. In 1990 it was renovated with love and care, then again twice in 2006. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 90 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
