The restaurant and newly constructed conservatory offer the right atmosphere for you to enjoy and feel comfortable: the wonderful view, the cosy décor and the gorgeous cuisine will suit everyone’s taste. The chef and his team will offer both treasured regional delicacies and national specialities. In particular, the emphasis will be placed on the careful selection and pleasant preparation of raw produce: as a member of the ‘Gastwirte Nationalpark Hohe Tauern Association’, the restaurant is particularly proud of being able to source most of its produce directly from its domestic agriculture. That’s how the freshness and quality of the food can be guaranteed. Furthermore, the restaurant is largely known as ‘Knödelwirt’: on its menu, you’ll find approximately 20 different creations, from savoury to sweet specialities. |

By car: From Salzburg (A1) : - At the crossing Salzburg (A1) via (A10) drive towards Graz and take the exit Bischofshofen towards Lend/Zell am See. - Before the Zeller tunnel drive towards Mittersill/Kaprun until you arrive in Piesendorf, about 4 km. From Salzburg (without vignette): - Drive via the border crossing Kleiner Walserberg, via Bad Reichenhall (E60), Unken (B312), Lofer, (B311) Saalfelden, Zell am See (through tunnel). - Turn right towards Mittersill/Kaprun until you reach Piesendorf, about 4 km. From Munich (A8): - Take the A8 towards Salzburg and exit at Traunstein/Siegsdorf, Inzell (306) towards Bad Reichenhall (305). - Then take the B312 towards Lofer, then the B311 and then Saalfelden. - At Zell am See got through the tunnel and then turn right (B168) towards Mittersill/Kaprun until you reach Piesendorf, about 3 km. From Bavaria (without vignette): - Take the A93 before the border crossing Kiefersfelden and exit at Oberaudorf (172). - After Kössen drive towards Reith i.Winkl, St.Johann/Tirol and then on the B312 towards Lofer, (B311) to Saalfelden. - At Zell am See got though the tunnel and turn right (B168) towards Mittersill/Kaprun until you reach Piesendorf, about 3 km. |
