The owners knew how to preserve the wall and ceiling paintings, the “Kachelöfen” (tiled stoves) and the lovely garden next to the prior’s house. This family atmosphere is from another century when we still had time to spend. Take a break with us and stay apart from todays society for a few nights. |

From the nearby Nozon Gorge to the Jura’s crest, through the forest, relaxing in the thermal bath of Yverdon, visiting the medieval castles and the caverns on the way to the next gourmet stop, you will learn again how to live. In winter, the cross-country ski runs in the famous “Vallée de Joux” are only 15 minutes away. |

From Basel, Zurich, Berne, Yverdon : motorway A1 direction Besançon-Vallorbe, exit Les Clées, follow Les Clées, Croy. The train station Croy-Romainmôtier is 1 km away. Busses are stopping in front of the house. With the French TGV, change in Vallorbe to a regional train. |

This historical hotel is similar to a “bed and breakfast”. It is located in the heart of Romainmôtier and has a traditional building dating back to the 16th century. It features a lovely garden with a stream and has non smoking rooms. The main living room is equipped with a piano and fire place. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the beautiful breakfast room with wooden interior. All rooms are en suite and have a special ambiance with romantic antique furniture.
