This privately-run hotel is affiliated to the Best Western international hotel brand. It offers guests a restaurant area for breakfast and dinner, as well as a small lounge. For quieter moments spent reading a good book or a daily newspaper, there is a library with a conservatory and roof terrace on the fourth floor. The rooms are all designed in a bright and friendly manner, and are bathed in natural sunlight thanks to the large windows. Depending on your room location, you can enjoy a marvellous view of the spa gardens and the River Ahr, or else the town, the Ahr valley and the vineyards. Most rooms boast a balcony or terrace. The hotel swimming pool is 50 m² in area, and is maintained at a temperature between 28° and 30° C. The spa facilities also feature an in-house sauna. |

The hotel enjoys all the natural advantages of being in the Ahr valley in the renowned spa town of Bad Neuenahr. The local area also boasts: - the oldest casino in Germany - the largest Nordic walking park in Europe, with 10 different trails extending over a distance of 450 kilometres - the largest and finest medical spa centre in Germany, over an area of 10,000 m², called the ‘symphony of the senses’ and in operation for 150 years - the smallest distinct red wine producing area with a fine selection of port and pinot varieties - award-winning chefs in the nearby Alte Post restaurant in Heppingen Nearby are also the Ahr thermal baths with a sauna area. Hotel guests receive a reduction here. From April until October, the nostalgic Ahr valley railway passes by the hotel every hour on its way from Bad Neuenahr to Ahrweiler. One of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany is just 5 km from the hotel. There are also climbing facilities nearby, as well as an abundance of trails for Nordic walking or cycling. Bicycles can be hired from the hotel. The hotel organises tours of local points of interest. You can visit the cellars of the local Marienthal abbey, or many of the local wine growers, such as Brogsitter, complete with wine tasting of course! The neighbouring town of Ahrweiler has a historic city wall and original timber-framed houses, dating from Medieval times right up to Art Nouveau. The wine harvest festival in September and the historical Christmas market are particularly noteworthy. Thrill seekers and fans of motorsports and rock concerts are only a half-hour drive away from the Nürburg Ring. |

If arriving by car from Cologne, Krefeld, Aachen or Düsseldorf, take the Bad-Neuenahr-Ahrweiler exit off the A61 motorway. Follow the signs for Bad Neuenahr. On the Heerstraße drive past the Aral service station up to the main junction. Turn right, passing the station on the right, and go straight on at the roundabout until you reach the Audi-VW garage. Then turn left into the Wolfgang-Müller-Straße, and drive to the end of this street, where you will see the hotel on the left-hand side. If coming by car from the south, from the Koblenz, Mannheim, Mainz or Ludwigshafen directions, approach along the A61 motorway, exiting at Autobahndreieck Sinzig. Follow the main line of traffic, go straight on at the first traffic light, cross the railway tracks and pass the station on the right-hand side. Go straight on at the roundabout until you reach the Audi-VW garage. Then turn left into the Wolfgang-Müller-Straße, and drive to the end of this street, where you will see the hotel on the left-hand side. If arriving by public transport, taxis are available from the Bad Neuenahr station, and from Bad Neuenahr airport, just 3 km from the hotel. |
