From Budapest: exit M3 at kilometre marker 70 km, in the direction of Gyöngyös-Hort, then – in Gyöngyös – turn at the Mátrafüred/Parád sign. Following this, looking for the Galyatető sign, you will reach the hotel after approximately 28 km. From Budapest by coach: along the Budapest - Gyöngyös - Galyatető line. Transfer is possible in Gyöngyös or Pásztó, but there is also direct service from Népstadion. | |

This newly refurbished all-season wellness and conference hotel offers you up-to-date facilities surrounded by fresh mountain air and a mild sub-alpine climate. The yearly hours of sunshine are above the national average at this scenic place. Grandhotel Galya was built from 1937 to 39 in the middle of a lovely, 5-acre park surrounded by forests, providing ideal conditions for relaxing walks. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All older children or adults are charged EUR 26.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 1.20 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.
