The house was built in the year 1888. During the comunist regime the house was expropriated and wasted away for 40 years. After the Velvet revolution the original owner got it back in an awful condition. We bought it from him in the year 1993 and in several years renewed it into the new state. The intention was to conserve the atmosphere of old Prague and especially this picturesque Zizkov district. The outer facade is full of precious stucco details and inner courtyard with typical galleries and stone-block pavement offers the real Old-Prague atmosphere. The only international airport in Prague is Ruzyne. It takes approximately 90 to 120 minutes taking the shuttle bus. If you choose public transportation it will take longer. There is a firm called Cedaz which can organize pick up from and to Prague airport. The price for one to 4 passengers is CZK 480, approximately EUR 16, for 5 to 8 passengers it is CZK 960, EUR 32. Pre-reservation to the airport is necessary at least 2 hours in advance. |

Breakfast: buffet is available in the VinCafé Mia on the ground floor of the Apartment house ( entrance on Chlumova Street ). Breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m. It is necessary to order it from the Café one day in advance. |

Our Apartment-house is located in the City centre, all major sights are close by. The house is located in the eastern side of the City. Seifertova Street is the main street passing through this district called Zizkov. It is an old district with special atmosphere. There are many nice and historical buildings and most of them are already reconstructed after our Velvet revolution in 1989. All around our house you can find plenty of nice restaurants, cafes etc. Here you also have the opportunity to visit a typical czech pub where the most common dishes are served for very reasonable prices. These restaurants are not made for tourists so you can really join the everyday life of our people. One of these restaurants is located just next to our house, 15 metres right from the main exit and is called U hroznu. |

ARRIVAL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: The B&B Apartment house is located close to the Prague Main train Station, which is called Hlavni nadrazi. From there you should take the tram 5, 9 or 26 for just 2 stops until the stop Lipanska, where you have to gett off. As soon as you get off the tram you will see the house just across the street opposite from the tram stop. Round the corner ( left hand side from the main door ) and you will reach the ground floor, where the Bar is located. There you can pick up the keys to your apartment. If you arrive at “Holesovice” train station, you should take the tram 5 and go 12 stops. get off at the stop called Lipanska and continue as mentioned above. The journey will take app. 20 minutes. ARRIVAL FROM THE AIRPORT BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: Take the bus No. 119, which takes you to the Metro stop line A Dejvicka. Take the Metro and go 8 stops to the stop Flora. Go to the surface and use the 2nd exit on the left (signed as Tram . Namesti Miru . Nusle . Karlovo Namesti . Motol . Repy). You will come right to the tram stop. Take the tram No. 5 and go 2 stops until the stop Lipanska. Our house is about 50 metres further on the right hand side. ARIVAL BY CAR: From South-West: Stay on the highway (D1) from Brno and drive in direction City-centre. Behind the main train station (large old building on the right hand side) turn right (driveway direction district ZIZKOV). At the end of the drive you will find a large crossing with traffic lights. There you have to turn right and drive below the short viaduct. Behind this viaduct Seifertova Street is starting. The house is about 500 meters further on the left-hand side. On the ground floor there is a Bar located ( entrance round the corner from Chlumova Street ), where you pick up the keys to the apartment. From West: Stay on the main street from Plzen ( Plzenska Street ) and drive in direction City-centre. After the river ( Vltava ) you have to continue straight ahead through the streets Resslova and Jecna to the large crossing at the end of this street. Here you have to turn left to the City-centre. Behind the main train station (large old building on the right hand side) turn right (driveway direction district ZIZKOV). At the end of the drive you will find a large crossing with traffic lights. There you have to turn right and drive below the short viaduct. Behind this viaduct Seifertova Street is starting. The house is about 500 meters further on the left-hand side. On the ground floor there is a Bar located ( entrance round the corner from Chlumova Street ), where you pick up the keys to the apartment. From North: Drive in direction city centre and follow following streets: Liberecka, V Holesovickach, then cross the river (Vltava) - most Barikadniku (name of the bridge) and continue straight ahead along the Argentinska Street and across the river once more - Hlavkuv most. Then continue along Wilsonova Street and take the driveway direction ZIZKOV. At the end of the drive you will find a large crossing with traffic lights. There you have to turn right and drive below the short viaduct. Behind this viaduct Seifertova Street is starting. The house is about 500 meters further on the left-hand side. On the ground floor there is a Bar located ( entrance round the corner from Chlumova Street ), where you pick up the keys to the apartment. |

The house is divided into 28 apartments with a total capacity of 125 beds. There are either one bedroomed or two bedroomed flats. All apartments in ground floor, 1st floor, 2nd floor and 3rd floor have a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, cooker, cupboard with kitchenware and dinette. Rooms in the 4th floor have a common kitchen. Additionally each apartment has its own bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. Hot water is supplied from individual boilers in each flat. Flats are electrically heated. | |

There are no internet facilities for our guests, but there are internet cafes on Wenceslas Sqaure, which you can reach with tram number 9 after 4 stops. Most of them offer reasonable prices. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome. All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included. Service charge is included. EUR 0.70 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. Internet: No internet access available. Meal Plan: Breakfast is not included and costs EUR 4.00 per person. Parking: No parking available. Pets: Pets are allowed. No extra charges. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival. |
