The hotel can be very easily reached, should you travel by car, by train or plane, as it is near San Marco pier, no. 15, where all public transport means arrive from Piazzale Roma, the railway station, the Tronchetto car park and the Marco Polo airport. If you will arrive at Marco Polo airport the best way to come to hotel San Gallo is taking the ALILAGUNA water-bus service and you will be at St. Mark square in 1H and 10 minutes;it costs euro 10 per person.From Tronchetto parking area, Piazzale Roma or the train station Santa Lucia , take waterbus line 2 running to SanMarco through Canal Grande. Get off atVallaresso stop (San Marco) and take the way straight on called Calle Vallaresso. At the end of this street, turn right and enter St. Mark square.Walk under the arches on your left, take the second on the left which is called Sottoportego Del Cavalletto, cross the little bridge and you will find Hotel San Gallo after 50 meters on your right. |
