By plane From Venice Marco Polo airport, there are several options to reach Locanda Formosa: - with a private water taxi get off at the stop in front of the hotel; - with the Alilaguna speed boat get off at San Zaccaria (the trip should last about 1 and 15 minutes, cost 10 €). From Riva degli Schiavoni go towards Calle delle Rasse, beside Hotel Danieli. Walk along this street until you reach Campo di San Filippo e Giacomo. Once you arrive here turn right for Calle Drio la Chiesa and after the bridge, Calle dei Mercanti. Turn left for Calle Corte Rotta and Ruga Giuffa, until you reach Campo Santa Maria Formosa. Go around the church and when you arrive to the canal (Canale dei Preti) follow the fondamenta on your right to number 5841 where Locanda Formosa is situated. - the Venezia Air Terminal bus (cost 3 €) will bring you to Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From here you can take vaporetto no. 82 (Canal Grande ticket, cost 5 €)and get off at the Rialto stop. From here, take Calle Larga Mazzini and then turn left for Campo San Bartolomeo; take Sotoportego della Bissa and then Salizzada San Lio after the bridge. Take the third calle on the left (Calle del Paradiso), follow the directions for Campo San Giovanni e Paolo/Ospedale Civile. Walk the entire calle , passing the bridge and then another bridge on the right. Locanda Formoso is immediately to the left at no. 5841. By car Arriving by car, you can park in Piazzale Roma, in Garage San Marco which offers a special rate for our hotel.
