This enchanting hotel has 8 rooms, all of which are tastefully decorated in a traditional historic Tuscan style and have a private bathroom. A central stone staircase, hewn from travertine, leads to the rooms, 2 on each floor. The rooms maintain the ancient atmosphere with travertine floors, wrought iron beds, antique prints, old writing desks and beautiful curtains. The rooms on the top floor have stunning picturesque views out over the Sienese clay-tile roofs and the rolling green countryside that surrounds the hotel. Each room has a shaver point and comes with a courtesy kit of amenities. |

By Car (from Florence): - Take the A1 motorway. - Take the exit at Firenze Certosa and take the free motorway toward Siena. - Take the exit for Siena Sud and follow the signs towards the centre of the city. By Car (from Rome): - Take the A1 motorway. - Take the exit at Valdichiana and take the free motorway towards Siena-Bettolle until the south of the city. - Then follow the signs for the Porta Romana gate. By Car (from Pisa): - Take the FI-PI-LI motorway towards Firenze and exit at Ponsacco. - Follow the signs for Volterra and then for Colle Val dElsa. - Follow the signs for Siena and, at the sign for Siena, turn right and follow the ramp for the Svincolo Colle Val DElsa Sud. - At the sign for Monteriggioni, turn right and follow the Firenze-Siena motorway for about 15 km. - Take the exit for Siena Nord. Parking: No traffic is permitted within Siena’s city centre. However, you can drive to the hotel for check-in and to load or unload luggage. There are car parks just outside the city centre. |
