The B&B “La dimora di Giuseppe” is located in a fully renovated villa, tastefully decorated in a modern contemporary style. The main building includes double rooms equipped with TV, air-conditioning, central heating, hair dryer and en-suite bathroom with walk-in power-shower. In a second independent building, next to the main villa, is a lounge with sofas and satellite-TV with a wide flat screen. The modern kitchen is complete with sink, cooker, oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwaves and several cupboards. The gym is fully fitted with fitness equipment, a relaxing infra-red sauna. Available to our guests also a terrace furnished with tables and chairs. The garden offers a swimming-pool with surrounding solarium and deckchairs. On the other side of the garden a lawn, with a nicely arranged gazebo for romantic candlelit dinners al fresco. |

The B&B “La dimora di Giuseppe” is located at Fanusa, a sea resort, only 3 minutes from the sandy beach and 5 minutes from Syracuse’s historical centre. During the Greek domination, Syracuse was the second most important city of the Hellenic world, after Athens. Perhaps the most famous citizen of the ancient city is Archimedes, who lived in Syracuse in the 3rd century B.C. The numerous local historical sights include the Greek Theatre, inside the archaeological park, where still some classical plays are set during the months of May and June. In the same park you will find the Roman Amphitheatre, the Ear of Dyonisius (Orecchio di Dionisio) and the Hiero’s Ara. The museum boasts one of the most important collections of archeological finds of Sicily. The Cathedral, in the heart of the isle of Ortigia, was built in 1728, but it incorporates sections of a Norman church dating from the 8th century A.D. At easy reach also the small baroque towns of Noto, Modica, Ispica and Ragusa Ibla, all classified by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. The well-known resorts of Taormina, Giardini Naxos and Letojanni are placed north of Catania, and the impressive Mount Etna, often visible from Syracuse, offers many possibilities for excursions. Of particular interest is visiting the Necropolis of Pantalica, that brings you back to prehistoric times. |

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
