The Hotel Ariston is located in the centre of the town and close to the industrial area. It is within easy to reach of toll motorway exits, bus stops and the train station. In Padova itself, there are numerous local attractions, including: - The Palazzo della Ragione: Reputed to have the largest roof unsupported by columns in Europe, with allegorical frescoes adorning the walls, The Palazzo dates back to 1172. - The Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua: Locally known as Il Santo, the bones of the saint rest in a chapel richly ornamented with carved marbles and the work of various artists. - Prato della Valle: a 90,000 m² elliptical square, believed to be the biggest in Europe, after Red Square in Moscow. In the centre is a ditch which is lined by statues portraying famous citizens. |

By car: From Trieste, Venice and Treviso: - To reach us from the A27 motorway (Venice - Belluno), take the A4 (Venice - Milan) and follow the signs for Milan. - Take the Padova Est exit. From Bologna and Padova: From the A13 motorway (Bologna - Padova), take the A4 (Venice - Milan) and follow the signs for Milan. - Take the Padova Est exit. From Milan, Verona and Vicenza: - From the motorway A4 (Milan - Venice), take the Padova Est exit. - At the roundabout, when you leave the motorway, follow the road signs to Camposampiero - Castelfranco Veneto. - Go straight for aprox 8 km and exit at Reschigliano. Follow signs to Castelgranco Veneto or Campodarsego (S.S. 307). - At the crossroads, turn right (in the direction of Castelfranco V.to). - After 2 km, you will find the hotel on your right, in the center of Campodarsego. By Train: - From Padova railstation, take the regional train (R) to Castefranco Veneto and get off at Campodarsego station. By Plane: The international airport of Venice (Marco Polo) is about 30 km from the hotel. The airports of Treviso (Saint Giuseppe) and Verona (Villafranca/Catullo) can also be reached easy. |
