The Best Western Hotel Gran Mogol is a family run hotel located in a building constructed in 1961, in the heart of the city of Turin. The hotel has been managed by the Garetto family since 1980, who have also been running the Best Western Hotel Genio in Turin since 1966. Apart from the refined atmosphere of the hall and bar, guests can also take advantage of the meeting room, which can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people. |

As you go out of the hotel and cross the 2 squares (Piazza Lagrange and Piazza Carlo Felice), you will come to Via Roma. After 500 metres you will be presented with the exquisite 17th century Baroque architecture of Piazza San Carlo, with a statue of Emanuele Filiberto on horseback, in the centre of the square. Another 10 minutes walk under the arches of Via Roma will bring you to Piazza Castello, which has been the citys governmental centre right through its 2000 year history. The square features Palazzo Madama in its centre, with Palazzo Reale (The Royal Palace) in the background. Behind the Royal Palace stands Turins 15th century cathedral, which contains the Chapel of the Holy Shroud. Five minutes from the hotel, you will also find the Egyptian Museum, and then, the Royal Armoury, the Royal Library, the sumptuous apartments of the Royal Palace, the Savoy Gallery and Palazzo Madama, with the Museum of Ancient Art and the Museum of Cinematography. |

By Train: From Porta Nuova Station (200m): - Cross via Nizza, followed by Corso Vittorio. - Pass under the Arcades in via Lagrange and, after 100 metres, turn right onto via Guarini, where you will see the hotel. By Car: From the A4 Torino/Venezia motorway and the A5 Aosta/Torino motorway (7 km): - Exit at Corso Giulio Cesare, and follow the signs for the city centre and Porta Nuova station. - Turn into via Lagrange, and after 100 metres, turn right into via Guarini. From the A6 Savona/Torino motorway and the A21 Piacenza/Torino motorway (5 km): - Take the Corso Unità d’Italia exit, and follow the signs for the city centre and Stazione Porta Nuova. - Turn into via Lagrange, and after 100 metres, turn right into via Guarini. From the A32 Bardonecchia/Torino motorway (6 km): - Exit at Corso Francia, and follow the signs for the city centre and Stazione Porta Nuova. - Turn into via Lagrange, and after 100 metres, turn right into via Guarini. By Plane: From Sandro Pertini Airport (27 km): - Take a bus from the terminal towards the city centre and alight at Porta Nuova railway station. - Pass under the Arcades in via Lagrange and, after 100 metres, turn right onto via Guarini, where you will see the hotel. There is a garage located beneath the hotel. Parking costs EUR 20-25 (depending on the size of the car) for 24 hours. |
