Nearby attractions include: Huseyin Point Lighthouse (200 metres) - built in 1931 by the French, this interesting structure towers above a large sandy beach, ideal for those seeking to escape the crowds. Kadikalesi (4 km) - an excellent cycling location, notable for its history and tranquil surroundings. The Hellenistic castle, Roman church and ancient cistern are all worthy of a visit. Akyarlar (9 km) - the largest cove of Turgutreis and a popular spot for wind-surfers. |
