Santa Margherita Ligure is at about 30 km east of Genoa. Located in the centre of the Tigullio Gulf, and at the bottom of the Portofino Mount, you can easily reach it with any kind of transportation. By Air: International Airport Cristoforo Colombo, Genoa. By Boat: Port of Genoa. By Car: Take the A12 highway. - Exit at Rapallo or Recco. From Rapallo: - Once you reach Santa Margherita Ligure, in the city centre, follow the directions to San Lorenzo della Costa (also following the signs to Genova). - About 500 metres further on the hill you will find the hotel on your left. From Genoa (and /or taking the highway exit of Recco): - On the National Street Via Aurelia (SS1), follow the signs to Santa Margherita Ligure. - You will find the hotel on your right, just before reaching the centre. By Train: Santa Margherita Ligure Portofino station (some trains only stop in Rapallo or Chiavari). |
